Siren is a high-fidelity, real-time, interactive digital human developed by NExT Studios in collaboration with leading companies in the industry, including Epic Games, Cubic Motion, and 3Lateral. The project aims to expand the boundaries of current digital human technology, exploring the future of high-fidelity virtual humans through cutting-edge technologies such as real-time rendering, face capture, motion capture, and high-fidelity 3D scanning, and introducing the most advanced film industry technologies in the process.
Siren's digital avatar is captured from a real woman, but Siren can be driven by any human. Siren has made breakthroughs in her facial details, including details of the human skin, the rotation of the eyes, the manner of speech, and even the wrinkles on the face. The texture of the skin with pores and wrinkles and her facial expressions look like a real person.
We used the UE4 engine to render the digital human in real-time, which was the highest standard in the industry. The details of the digital human were unprecedented and represented the future of game realism. The Siren project made its stunning debut at GDC 2018, receiving wide attention and high praise from both domestic and international industry media.
